Would probably go for eight castors at least. Don't try to screw anything into the Kallax outers.
You need to make sure the Kallax is not going to slide around on the ply, so I would make the ply wider and deeper, and attach firmly to the top of the ply four wooden rails around the base of the Kallax to keep it in place. As soon as you try and push or pull that unit, you will find that the Kallax joints are not that strong.

If all you do is install the unit on a solid wood platform, plus add a backing, it will not be enough IMO. Screws will rip right through that if there's enough force. You are basically nailing into a void outside of few areas and in areas where there is some sort of wood, it's particle board. I would also use some sort of industrial bonding material rather than rely on screws and nails. You'll need to do the math here as it will be heavy unit so you will need the appropriate heavy duty casters. Install a solid backing and then add casters. You will need to encase the entire unit in wood. If you really want to do this you will need to do a lot more than just install a solid backing or platform. Solid back or not solid back, make sure you make appropriate funeral arrangements for your collection if you put casters on that size of unit and then fill it with records, especially if you intend to move it.
